What exactly is the Internet?
If you to ask any regular person, they would probably respond that it is a huge system of computers that are connected all over the world.
But what REALLY is the Internet?
Looking at the affect that the Internet has had on the world, there is no doubt in my mind that this invention has had a more profound impact on socitey than television, radio, and other inventions in the past.
Why?
The reason is simple. The exchange of information.
Knowledgeable information is power. Do you know the importance of information? People in the past have killed other people to acquire information. People in the past have died trying to protect information from others.
Unlike television
and radio where communication was only in one direction, the Internet allows
two-way communication between the
provider and receiver
of the information. The Internet has provided ordinary people with
the power to exchange information with people on the other side of the
world in a matter of seconds.
With this type of power, it doesn't surprise me how the Internet has revolutionized businesses across the globe. You can access almost ANYTHING on the Internet. Software, recipes, ebooks, reports, pictures, audio files, video files, and much, much more! There is even no reason to go to the library to acquire information that is easily available on the Internet.
How can the Internet bring you financial success?
I don't think there has been any point in history such as now where an ordinary individual can make thousands of dollars in a matter of months with little initial capital to invest.
I remember when I first started a mail order business selling books, the initial costs were alot. I spent hundreds of dollars on stocking books in inventory, buying envelopes, postage stamps, printing sales letters and advertising. Thousands of dollars and spent and no profits to show for it in return.
Then came along the Internet. I don't stock books anymore because the ones I sell are ALL digital. No more postage stamps to buy because I deliver my product over the Internet for free. The best part is that advertising is dirt cheap! The risk is almost zero and it costs just pennies to test ideas on the Internet.
Pay-per-click search engines bring traffic to my sites for as little as one cent per click. There are literally hundreds of ezines that offer free classified ads. My own ezines have thousands of readers who are also potential customers.
Where do you fit in?
Like I said earlier, the Internet is about the exchange of information. I make money by selling information in the form of ebooks, reports and web pages.
If you have valuable information to share with others, the Internet can put you in business literally overnight. No idea is stupid. People purchase both fiction and non-fiction on the Internet.
The exchange of information has become a multi-billion dollar business on the Internet. People pay money for information that they are looking for. You can make money by bridging this gap. Find out what information is in demand and then resell it for profits.
Do you know a special recipe?
Do you have insider knowledge on how to fix a car?
The ideas are unlimited. The only thing between you and financial success on the Internet is your imagination. Don't let people tell you that you have wild dreams and will never make it.
If I had done that,
I would not be where I am today.
